The weekend has just about arrived. Soon Thanksgiving will be
upon us. Has everyone planned their menu? This week has went
fairly well for me. I have come across a few articles I'll be including
today. One of them concerns your fuel. With all that has happened
in the past year or so, have you ever thought of where your fuel
actually comes from? I have to admit I have not. I just asumed
it came from the the "good" Middle Eastern countries. Did you
ever wonder? It is something to consider, are you putting cash
in a terrorist's pocket?

But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of gas
buyers. It's really simple to do!! Now, don't wimp out at this
point...keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach
millions of people!!. I'm sending this note to about thirty people. If each
of you send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300)... and those 300
send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000) and so on, by the time

Common Font Point Sizes<BR>

When you use the Font Size pull-down list of the formatting<BR>
toolbar, you can see a variety of common sizes, which you can<BR>
use, with your text. You can quickly step through these common<BR>
sizes by using the following steps:<BR>
1. Select the text whose point size you want to affect.<BR>
2. Press Shift+Ctrl+> to advance to the next larger common point<BR>

a.) Ordered lists will display your list items with any of five
styles: 1, a, A, i, and I. The default display style is numbers.
To specify an alternative style, add type="a" or whatever style

b.) You can enable your visitors to tab through your form input
boxes. Add tabindex="1" to your first input tag, tabindex="2" to
your second, and so on. The "tabindex" value determines the
order in which you will tab through the form. If you would like
the tab order to skip a certain area, simply use a negative
value beginning with "-1" then "-2" and so on in those areas.

Past studies have shown that low folate levels are linked
to poor mental function, age-related memory loss, and
Alzheimer's disease. A group of researchers looked at
folate levels and the degeneration of the neocortex-a part
of the brain important for thinking and memory-in 30 nuns
who died from various causes. They also looked at the number
of plaques built up on neurons, a hallmark of Alzheimer's
disease. The 15 subjects who had significant numbers of
neural plaques had low blood folate levels.
Researchers tried to find correlations between Alzheimer's
and 18 other nutrients, but no other nutrient was as
strongly related to the level of age-related brain changes
as folate.
Folate supplements are very effective at raising blood
folate levels. This nutrient is turning out to be one of
the most important preventative medicines in Nature's
pharmacy.

CONTROLLING THE ONSLAUGHTER OF STAINS
Baby Formula
Clothes
For fresh stains, rinse in lukewarm warm, then launder according
to directions. Use a liquid stain remover if necessary. For dry
stains, soak in enzyme detergent (such as Biz, Era Plus, Tide,
or Wisk). Caution: Never use enzyme detergents with wool or silk.
They’ll eat right through the fabric.
Note: Do not allow stain to set.
Grass
Canvas Shoes
Scrub stain with a nailbrush, using a mixture of dishwashing liquid
and warm water. Remove caked-on mud or dirt, then wash shoes
in the washing machine. Air-dry.
Non-Chemical Household Cleaners
All-Purpose Cleaner/Disinfectant:
1/2 cup borax
1 gallon water
Mix thoroughly. Can be used as out of a spray bottle or directly
from the bucket applied to a sponge.
Carpet Cleaner:
1/4 cup white vinegar
2 tablespoons dish soap
1 quart warm water
Mix in a spray bottle. Saturate the stain thoroughly. Using a clean,
white cloth, lightly rub the stain. Blot with clean dry cloth. Repeat
until the stain is gone. Let the area dry then vacuum. Some tough
stains may need two treatments. This works very well on pet
stains, fruit drink spills, grease, and many other stains. Be sure to
test a hidden area to make sure the colors in your carpet won't run
or fade.
Ceramic Tile Cleaner:
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 gallon water
May be used out of a spray bottle or directly from a bucket with a
sponge.
Furniture Polish:
2 parts olive or vegetable oil
1 part lemon juice
Mix well. Apply to furniture and wipe with a clean, lint-free cloth.
Mildew Remover:
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup borax
1 quart warm water
Mix in a spray bottle. Spray on mildew stains. Let set for a few
minutes and wipe away. The area will be clean and disinfected.
Scouring Powder:
Baking Powder or table salt make excellent, non-abrasive scouring
powders.
Toilet Bowl Cleaner:
1 1/2 cup baking soda
2 cups white vinegar
Pour both into the toilet bowl. Use the toilet brush to scrub the bowl.
Let set for several hours or overnight. Flush and your bowl will be
clean!
Window Cleaner:
2 teaspoons white vinegar
1 quart warm water
Mix in a spray bottle. Use as you would a commercial cleaner.
Window Cleaner:
1/2 cup cornstarch
2 quarts warm water
Mix in a spray bottle. Use as you would a commercial cleaner.

What you need to do is buy "information" ... NOT
"opportunities." -- That way, you won't be scammed
(as often). -- And ...
Just so you know ... and "opportunity" is when the
promoter promises you big bucks by working with him/her.
-- "Information" is just information until YOU turn it
into an opportunity for yourself.
Pick a business you want to get involved in, then get
yourself down to your local public library & read every
book you can find on the subject. - Then, search Amazon
for more books on the subject. Then, search the web for
more books on the subject.
When I went into the banking business, I spent over
$3,000 on books about banking & financing ... read every
one of them cover to cover. -- I can honestly say, I know
more about banking than a great many of the bankers I had
to deal with, because I studied banking.
You can do the same thing in any business subject you
choose ... if you want to "earn" your success; rather
than having someone give it to you.
Einstein once said that anyone could become a genius in
any one subject, if they spent just 15 minutes a day
studying only that subject.
That's the way it is in the real business world. -- Don't
depend upon any "promoter" to do it for you. Learn how the
business is done ... get "information" ... then do it
yourself.

Need More Love? Here's Six Ways to Get It!

Certainly you have known someone who can brighten any room--
just by leaving!
I'm afraid that we've ALL known someone like that (and I am
afraid, at times, we also BEEN that person.)
Years ago I was listening to Dennis Waitley--the "Psychology
of Winning" guy--and he made this statement: "I want to be
the kind of person who makes others say, 'I like myself best
when I'm with you.'"
I liked that idea. I decided to become that kind of person.
On some levels, I think I have even made some progress there.
I want to share with you today some of the keys I have found
helpful in becoming that "I Like Me Best" kind of person:
1. "If you can't say anything nice..."
"...don't say anything at all." If you want to really help
people, give up trying to correct them. Instead, compliment
them on their strengths. Will they still make mistakes that,
to you, are obvious and need correcting? Sure, but I have
found that there is ALWAYS someone willing to tell others
where they are failing, it is rare to find someone who will
tell others where they are succeeding.
2. Be Optimistic
Everyone likes to be around the "realistic optimist". The
"RO" is a person who can acknowledge that everything isn't
always great, but that someone we will all make it through.
Knowing that trials and setbacks are both inevitable as well
as temporary makes you an asset to the people around you.
3. Be Funny (--even Silly!)
When was the last time you laughed so hard you cried? That
was TOO LONG AGO. Learn some jokes and tell them. Watch a
comedy on TV. Go into Burger King and put on the cardboard
crown. You would be amazed how everyone around you will
respond--and how much better you will feel.
4. Give it away
Go ahead and be frugal when it comes to your bills, your
clothes or whatever else you want to save money on--just be
generous with PEOPLE stuff. Give a 25% tip to the waitress
who served you that great meal. Give $5 to a kid you see at
church. Give away hugs like you get paid for each one. Take
someone out to lunch--TODAY.
5. Live in the Moment
This is a tough one for many people: STOP WORRYING ABOUT
TOMORROW. Instead, live in today. Live in right now. Live
as if tomorrow will worry about itself. After all, what can
we do tomorrow until tomorrow gets here? All we can do is
whatever is before us today.
6. Love Deeply
This is the most important one.
Sure, you love your spouse, you love your kids. But what
about the people you work with? What about your neighbors?
If you love deeply I will guarantee you a couple things: You
will be disappointed and hurt, but you will ALSO find some
people who will deeply love you back. Trust me, it's worth
it.
Someday I hope that you and I get to meet and know one
another. I have a feeling that I might be telling you, "I
like me best when I'm with you."

THE PRACTICE can be a fairly good show, but last night's
program was so typical of your agenda. You picked the dufus'
of the office to be the one who was against the idea of his
mother being gay and made him look like a whiner because
he had convictions. This type of mentality calls people like me
a "gay basher." Read the first chapter of Romans (that's in the
Bible) and see what the apostle Paul had to say about it....
He, God and Jesus were all 'gay bashers'. What if she'd fallen
in love with her cocker spaniel? Is that an alternative lifestyle?
(By the way, the Bible speaks against that, too.)

How about getting your nose out of the Bible (which is ONLY a
book of stories compiled by MANY different writers hundreds of
years ago) and read the declaration of independence (what our
nation is built on) where it says "All Men are Created equal"
--and try treating them that way for a change! Or better yet, try
thinking for yourself and stop using an archaic book of stories
as your lame crutch for your existence. You are in minority in
this country and your boycott will not affect us or our freedom
of expression.

Old-Fashioned Gravy
1/4 cup turkey drippings (fat and juices from roasted turkey)
1/4 cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
2 cups liquid (juices from roasted turkey, broth, water)
Browning sauce, if desired
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1. Pour drippings from roasting pan into bowl, leaving brown particles
in pan. Return 1/4 cup drippings to roasting pan. (Measure accurately
because too little fat makes gravy lumpy.) Stir in flour. (Measure
accurately so gravy is not greasy.)
2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth
and bubbly; remove from heat. Stir in liquid. Heat to boiling, stirring
constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in a few drops of browning
sauce. Stir in salt and pepper.
Total: 10 min
Prep: 5 min
Cook: 5 min
Makes 2 cups gravy
Overnight Pecan Rolls
Enjoy warm homemade rolls in the morning! All the work is done the day before!
3 1/2 to 4 cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour or Better for Bread™ bread flour
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 packages regular or quick active dry yeast
1 cup very warm milk (120°F to 130°F)
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 egg
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup dark corn syrup
3/4 cup pecan halves
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
Pecan Filling (below)
1. Mix 2 cups of the flour, the granulated sugar, salt and yeast in large bowl.
Add milk, 1/3 cup butter and the egg. Beat with electric mixer on low speed
1 minute, scraping bowl frequently. Beat on medium speed 1 minute,
scraping bowl frequently. Stir in enough remaining flour, 1 cup at a time,
to make dough easy to handle.
2. Place dough on lightly floured surface; gently roll in flour to coat. Knead
about 5 minutes or until smooth and springy. Place dough in greased large
bowl, turning dough to grease all sides. Cover and let rise in warm place
about 1 hour 30 minutes or until double. (Dough is ready if indentation
remains when touched.)
3. Grease rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches. Heat brown sugar and 1/2 cup
butter to boiling in 1-quart saucepan, stirring constantly; remove from heat.
Stir in corn syrup; cool 5 minutes. Pour into pan. Sprinkle with pecan halves.
4. Gently push fist into dough to deflate. Pat or roll into 15x10-inch rectangle.
Spread with 2 tablespoons butter; sprinkle with Pecan Filling. Roll up tightly
beginning at 15-inch side. Pinch edge of dough into roll to seal. Stretch and
shape to make even. Cut into fifteen 1-inch slices. Place slightly apart in pan.
5. Cover unbaked rolls tightly and immediately refrigerate at least 12 hours (to
allow for rising) but no longer than 48 hours.
6. Heat oven to 350ºF. Uncover and bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.
Immediately place heatproof serving plate upside down onto pan; turn plate
and pan over. Let pan remain about 1 minute so caramel can drizzle over rolls.
Pecan Filling
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Mix all ingredients.

back to you later.
Cats are rather delicate creatures and they are subject to
a good many ailments, but I never heard of one who suffered
from insomnia.
People who hate cats, will come back as mice in their next
life.
Cats aren't clean, they're covered with cat spit.
