Hey There,

Welcome everyone, new subscribers and old. I hope this newsletter finds you doing well and happy. Fall is about to sneak up on us and summer will end once again. Schools have opened their doors. Red has been chafing at the bit to get started and even went through her first lesson the weekend before to see how her teachers were going to teach.

For all you out there that home school, your third year is usually your hardest to get through. After which things just "click." I have spoken to several home school moms and they all say the same thing. So if this is your third year teaching your children, cheer up it will get better. Rely on your judgement, your knowledge, and your common sense. Be confident in your teaching, after all you have been "teaching" your child since you were blessed with them.

Many of us have become complacent in "learning" and "educating" ourselves. When kids reach the public or academy "school age", we send them off to be educated by someone else. Many never give it a thought as to how that teacher's differences or school's environment will affect their child. Then when a problem occurs, parents tend to blame everyone but themselves. And the responsibility resides with the "parent." I am sure some will not agree with me, and that is OK. However, ask yourself this question: "What do I do when I come home from work?" "How much time do I spend with my child?" This is not time spent in front of the TV or video game. If you would really like to know, keep a journal for a month. You might be surprised.

Scam 1
A resurgence of the "Premium Lottery International" scam is making it's way around again. The one I received was from a rachelmarks@tiscali.co.uk and the return email was premiumlottery@tfpmail.com. A phone number is given and a winning lottery number is referenced. So be on the lookout and don't be taken in.
Scam 2
If you allow pop-ups make sure you close it properly! Use the "X" in the top right corner. My sister closed a pop-up with the "close button" and it sent the hacker her password. When she signed off that evening, the hacker sent 27 different emails to 350 people. In the morning when she went to get back on, AOL had blocked her account for spamming. Watch out! Pop-ups can get you in trouble without you even knowing it until after the fact.

Don't forget you can read this issue online at: http://www. magnoliawalker.com/ezine/currentissue.html. Current issues will from now on be at this link. You can bookmark it and be able to read the latest issue any time.

Thank you for taking time to visit with me today. I have a new ad code for this week. Don't forget to enter the contest. The winner will be posted in Vol 1 Issue 30, October 3rd. You have to give a correct answer to be included. I would like to remind you also, the Bible link is active. You may access it by either of these links. For frames:Bible with frames For no frames: Bible with no frames

OK, on the the meat of this issue! May God Bless you and all
of your family.

Sincerely,

Janet Bullard

And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

25

And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech.

And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:

27

And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

28

And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:

29

And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.

30

And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:

31

And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.

32

And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

ARE YOU ORGANIZED?
(Excerpt from TheWizWorld MRC Newsletter)
by Theresa Cahill

The key to all successful endeavors is, of course, organization.
Whether you have your own business, are involved in affiliate
programs, publish your own ezine, etc., if you're not organized
you are fighting an uphill, and ultimately unwinnable, battle.

BUT, WHERE TO BEGIN?

I'd like to take a moment or two to explain Inbox Organization.
I'm going to reference Outlook Express - but any inbox will do.

My online business is ezine advertising. I handle all incoming
orders by hand, and prefer it that way. If my inbox isn't
organized, I'm in a world of hurt! I've got to be able to fill
current orders, keep track of back orders, and even dig deep
several weeks or months if the need arises.

My method? Folders! Don't groan *smile!* No one said this was
going to be rocket science. But, without those folders, you've
got yourself a royal mess.

Your folders would, of course, be labelled appropriately for the
business(es) you are tracking online. In my case, I have Incoming
and Processed Orders with subfolders for each month. Within those
subfolders are folders for the ads themselves and any
correspondence. Incoming invoices are filed by TYPE (Clickbank or
PayPal) and also by MONTH. I provide numerous services - two
types of ezine advertising, two types of solo advertising, banner
ads, meta services (luckily this is a redirect), guaranteed hits,
and other specials as they come and go. Also, the publisher
benefits at My Wizard Ads include swaps and announcements, to
name just a few. Without an organized inbox, my business would
fold in two seconds!

BUT IT DOESN'T STOP THERE

I also make good use of the incoming mail SORT feature built into
Outlook Express. Under TOOLS, MAIL MESSAGES, MAIL I've created
over 100 different PRESORTED messages for myself. As mail comes
in, it's not all in one lump in the inbox requiring me to hand
sort - I let Outlook Express do 99.9% of the work for me. You can
sort using a myriad of options. Play around with it and cut YOUR
workload by 90%!

JUST DON'T FORGET

Now, I must admit I need to take this one step further. I rely
way, way too heavily on Outlook Express and my computer in
general. Though tedious, it is imperative that you also copy and
paste into a BACKUP folder on your hard drive, following this up
with the necessary floppy disk backups periodically. Printing
things out is also a good idea. Paper isn't extinct yet people,
save trees, but be smart -don't lose important business
information due to lack of printing.

It truly does not matter WHAT your business is... if you can't
locate the information quickly and efficiently you are wasting
valuable time that could be spent promoting, networking, and
making money!

Get Organized! It is a primary KEY to your success :)

INTERNET TIP

Redirecting Email

This is a handy way to avoid “spam” and receive only messages you want to receive from family and friends.

You can have replies to your Outlook Express messages sent to some address other than the one you used to send the messages, you can change the reply address.

To do this, choose Tools/Accounts. When Internet Accounts opens, click the Mail tab. Select the account name you're interested in modifying and click Properties.

With the Properties dialog box open, click the General tab (if necessary). Click in the "Reply address" entry box and type in the reply address that you want to use and click OK. Back in Internet Accounts, click Close.

Any mail generated by a recipient clicking Reply will go to your specified Reply address. Since the spammers won’t be replying to you, their junk doesn’t get redirected. You may wish to get a free email account such as from Yahoo or Hotmail for this purpose.

An added benefit – since Yahoo and Hotmail are “Internet” based, you can read your mail anyplace you happen to be – a real plus for those who travel.

5 Ways to Win the War on Clutter
By: Dietta L. Stewart

I had probably walked past that closet a hundred times, each

time telling myself how badly it needed cleaned. But each time
I had an excuse. A good one too, I’d get to it next weekend.
Finally, after many weeks of  putting it off I opened the door
to my youngest daughter’s closet. It had been declared a hazardous
area, I would need special equipment before moving in. Armed
with my 13-gallon trash bag I took a deep breath and ventured in.
What a mess. A half hour into the task I wondered if there was an
end to the mounds of Barbie shoes, jewelry beads, crayons, (hey, these
are brand new crayons!), Barbie clothes, doll house furniture…
You get the idea.

About 3 hours and 5, yes 5 trash bags later, I was finished.
The closet had been seized and conquered. I had won one more
battle over clutter. I wondered if I’d ever win the war. I
decided that I could. I’m going to show you how you can too.
Clutter is a monster that grows and multiplies without warning
and appears when we aren’t looking. Clutter is a thief of peace
and balance. It takes up space in our homes, and our hearts.
Clearing the clutter out of your life is surprisingly liberating.
Even after cleaning a small space like a drawer in your kitchen
you will suddenly feel lighter. Choose today to restore energy
and vitality to your life by clearing away the clutter. Here are
5 easy ways to get you started.

  1. Define Clutter. What does clutter mean to you? In order to
    defeat something you have to know what it is you’re fighting.
  2. Take one area at a time. Sort through your stuff, clean and
    dust as you go. Get rid of things that no longer fit who you are.
  3. Do regular clutter maintenance to keep it from getting out
    of control. Create a a schedule for major clutter clearing,
    like spring and fall, or every New Year’s day,.
  4. Create a space for everything.
  5. Decide what areas won’t be clutter free. Unless you live
    by yourself or with someone who is very neat, you have to deal
    with other people’s clutter. If we let it, clutter can cause
    many the argument, heartache and headache. To alleviate the
    stress of trying to control someone else’s clutter accept that
    some areas will always be cluttered unless the person or people
    creating the clutter changes or cleans it up. This is okay.
    Every where we have lived my husband has created a spot where he
    puts everything he brings into the house and leaves it there.
    Magazines mail, tools, you name it. In the past I would let this
    frustrate me and I tried my best to change it, after over ten years
    of marriage it still hasn’t changed. I don’t think it ever will, so
    I have learned to live with it. When I’m in the mood I clean it up.
    When I’m not, I leave it.

Achieving Visibility in Online Business
«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»
by Valerian Dinca

Learning to make money on the internet can be a very difficult task.
Despite of the fact there are so many different people telling you
how to be successful, from many years in the advertising business,
I learned that making a business a success is not an overnight task.

Well, let's say you've built a consumer-oriented Web site. You've
spent dollars upon dollars ensuring your site navigation is intuitive,
your interface is user friendly and your search engine optimization
is working perfectly, but the customers have not come.

How can that be? What is missing ?

Perhaps it's time that you evaluate (or create) your online marketing
plan to be sure you have the visibility you need to succeed in online
business.

1. The Basic Goals.
The basic goals of an online marketing plan are varied, and each
regards an important function of your website.
a) First and foremost, you should drive traffic to your website.
Choose one or more pages that allow you to track exactly where
each visitor came from so that you can evaluate your campaign every
moment and concentrate your efforts to the choused pages.
b) Second, your online marketing initiatives and promotions should
be crafted in a way that builds an excitement within the industry you
work.
c) Third, you should build your company as a credible and trusted
online source from which to procure the desired information, product
and/or service that consumers are seeking.

2. The Targets.
As with any marketing plan, it is critical to understand exactly who
your customers are and where they come from. In other words you
should establish the current majority of your audience segment, so
that you can sharply target and obtain maximum results.

3. The Tactics
Establishing tactics means to choose the ways you will accomplish
the basic goals. A mix of tactics should be evaluated when crafting
your online marketing plan, and ultimately employed within the your
marketing budget constrains . Unlike traditional, there are numerous
ways you can communicate and gain visibility online with potential
customers.

4. The Viral Marketing
Viral marketing is an online promotion that primarily spread the info
through clicks, links, emails and so on. This sort of promotions have
become very effective methods for increasing a site's traffic and brand
recognition in a relatively short period of time. The strategies of viral
marketing are endless, and include items like articles, reports, ebooks,
contests, signature files, referral programs, join ventures and another
thousands things your mind can imagine.

5. The Evaluation Stages.
You may think that once you have established a campaign that would
turn your business into an instant success. Fact is, you must evaluate
your performance from time to time to see how far or how close you
are from the basic goals.

Unfortunately, just making a listing with all above won't work enough.
There is a big secret and I am going to share it with you right now:

GARDENING:

Guide to Composting

Across the planet earth an amazing process is continuously taking
place. Plant parts and animal leavings rot or decompose with the help of
fungi, bacteria, and other microorganisms. Earthworms and an assortment
of insects do their part digesting and mixing the plant and animal matter
together. The result is a marvelous, rich, and crumbly layer of organic
matter we call compost, which is nature's gift to the gardener.

Benefits of Compost

Compost encourages earthworms and other beneficial organisms whose
activities help plants grow strong and healthy. It provides nutrients
and improves the soil. Wet clay soils drain better and sandy soils hold
more moisture if amended with compost. A compost pile keeps organic
matter handy for garden use and, as an added advantage, keeps the material
from filling up overburdened landfills.

How to Make Compost

Easy Composters You Can Build

In this handy booklet you'll find plans for several types of
compost bins, plus tips on selecting the site and maintaining
balanced compost.

Start with a layer of chopped leaves, grass clippings and kitchen
waste like banana peels, eggshells, old lettuce leaves, apple cores,
coffee grounds, and whatever else is available. Keep adding materials
until you have a six-inch layer, then cover it with three to six inches
of soil, manure, or finished compost.

Alternate layers of organic matter and layers of soil or manure until
the pile is about three feet tall. A pile that is three feet tall by
three feet square will generate enough heat during decomposition to
sterilize the compost. This makes it useful as a potting soil, top
dressing for lawns, or soil-improving additive.

Your compost pile may benefit from a compost activator. Activators
get the pile working, and speed the process. Alfalfa meal, barnyard manure,
bonemeal, cottonseed meal, blood meal, and good rich compost from a finished
pile are all good activators. Each time you add a layer to your pile, sprinkle
on some activator and water well.

Compost Care

Keep the pile in a semi-shaded area to keep it from drying out too much.
If your pile is near a tree, turn it frequently to make sure the tree
roots don't grow into it. Make an indentation in the top to hold water
and sprinkle with a garden hose when it appears dry. Keep it moist, but
not wet. Beneficial organisms cannot survive in soggy conditions.

Turning a compost pile is great exercise, but it can be quite a chore for
those of us that aren't used to heavy labor. Mixing the pile is a lot easier
if you use a compost aerating tool. If your compost pile has a strong odor,
try turning it more often. Odors are often caused by poor air circulation
or a pile that is too tightly packed.

Using Compost

When your compost is ready, it can be mixed into the soil before planting
or applied to the surface of the soil as a mulch. It's best to use it as
soon as it is ready because the longer it sits, the fewer nutrients it
will contain.

Quick Compost

If you need compost in a hurry, speed up the process by turning the pile
with a pitchfork once a week. Mixing the compost allows oxygen into the
center of the pile, where it encourages the growth of bacteria and fungi.
A pile that is turned regularly will become finished compost in four to
eight months. Fresh manure will activate the pile, causing it do decompose
more quickly. Lime and fresh manure counteract each other, so it's best
not to use both in you compost pile.

Particle size has a lot to do with the speed of decomposition. If you don't
have a shredder for your leaves and small twigs, try running the lawn mower
over them before you add them to the pile.

Making a Compost Bin

Many types of compost bins are available at your local garden center. Some of
these have devices for turning and removing compost. Although these bins
make turning easier and are more convenient, they aren't necessary. An
enclosure made from chicken wire or five wood pallets (one for the bottom
and one for each side) does the job just as well.

What to Compost
  • kitchen waste
  • lawn clippings (use thin layers so they don't mat down)
  • chopped leaves (large leaves take a long time to break down)
  • shredded branches
  • garden plants (use disease-free plants)
  • shredded paper
  • weeds (before they go to seed)
  • straw or hay
  • newspaper
  • wood ash (sprinkle lightly between layers)
  • hay
  • tea leaves and coffee grounds

What Not to Compost

  • Meat scraps and fatty trash
  • excessive wood ashes (counteracts with manures)
  • sawdust generally slows the decomposition of the pile.

    Troubleshooting Guide
    Symptom Cause Solution
    Unpleasant odor Too much nitrogen Add high carbon material such as straw, pine needles, grass clippings or vegetable trimmings and aerate.
    Compaction Aerate.
    Overwatering Add dry leaves or wood chips to soak up water and aerate.
    Pile not heating up Lack of nitrogen Add a nitrogen source such as fresh manure, grass clippings or blood meal. Mix the pile.
    Pile needs to be turned Mix pile by bringing outside material to the center.
    Low moisture When watering make sure the moisture gets to the center of the pile. Try poking deep holes in the pile before watering.
    Compost is finished Finished compost smells earthy rather than rotten or moldy and is dark and crumbly.
    Compost is damp and only the center is warm Pile is too small Add more compost material.

    Give Me a Break!
    By Mary Ann Cook

    The biblical story of Ruth and Naomi is a charming tale of loyalty. It features Ruth's beautiful pledge, "Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God" (Ruth 1: 16).

    While I applaud Ruth's total commitment to her mother-in-law, I can't help but wonder what she would do with a retired or work-at-home husband. Would she be so adamant about sticking close to him at all times, or would she jump on the nearest donkey and head for the hills?

    Everybody needs an occasional escape hatch.

    The Great Escapes

    There's no need to feel guilty when you find yourself thinking, "I've got to get out of here!" Chances are your husband has the same thoughts at times, and will not only understand your need to get away, but will also enjoy having the house to himself for a while. When you return in a better frame of mind, he probably will be relieved and grateful.

    Here are some tips for short, sweet getaways:

    1. Be prepared. Have a few escape spots in mind, so that when pressures build and you're overcome with the desire to flee, you'll know which direction to head. In addition to the library and mall, one of my favorite escape hatches is a nearby park, where I enjoy a brisk walk or sitting on a bench and watching the children play. Now that none of the kids screaming, "Mommy look at me!" are mine, it's a relaxing pastime.

    2. Get energized. An afternoon at the movie theater can crank up your imagination. Some women prefer escaping to the gym, where exercise gets those endorphins flowing; after a brisk workout, they feel more able, to. cope. Having lunch with a friend is another good way to vent frustration and gain strength to meet challenges. I highly recommend this escape, as staff members at my favorite restaurant can verify. Their corner booth has an imprint of my derriere permanently embedded in it, and they are considering installing a plaque with my name on the wall beside it.

    3. Soak away stress. You don't always have to leave home to escape. A relaxing bubble bath can do wonders for your disposition. While you're soaking, surround yourself with scented candles. Soothing music can also relax you and put you in a better mood. Pop a praise CD or tape into your stereo system and reflect on the inspiring words. Or choose classics like Mozart to take you away from it all.

    4. Find time to read. A good book can provide escape anywhere. In my workshops I frequently quote from one of my favorite "feel good" books, Barbara Johnson's Living Somewhere Between Estrogen and Death. When I do, the ladies invariably ask, "But how do you find time to read?" The question always surprises me. From the time I first learned to recite "See Dick run," I've been in love with the written word. So I make reading a priority. I give myself permission to read — even in the middle of the day, even if the dishes aren't done and dinner isn't prepared. Sadly, many women tell me the only time they feel justified reading is when they're waiting for a doctor's appointment. Give yourself permission to enjoy a book!

    5. Rediscover childhood. When was the last time you sprawled on the floor with a box of crayons and a coloring book in front of you? As a grandmother who frequently engages in this activity, I can assure you its still as relaxing and satisfying as when we were youngsters. (Getting up from the sprawled position, however, is a bit more difficult at this age.) Blowing bubbles is another childlike activity that's fun for adults. Grab an inexpensive bottle of the soapy stuff, dip your wand in, and blow softly. Then enjoy the glorious sight of glistening bubbles floating over the treetops. If it's been an especially stressful day, imagine yourself on board one of the bubbles!

    6. Take up a hobby. Scrapbooking is one relaxing pastime worth trying. My friend Wendy introduced me to this delightful hobby of chronicling family history in photos and artwork. I dragged out our boxes of family photos, made copies of the older, more fragile images of my ancestors, and am preserving them in albums for my children and grandchild. Look for classes offered through craft stores, community centers, or a senior center. Or purchase supplies and instructional books and do your own thing!

    Serendipity Moments

    Most escapes may be planned, but its good to stay open to unexpected opportunities for escape. My friend Carolynn refers to these as "serendipity moments." I had one such moment recently when, during a particularly stressful morning, my grandson, Aaron, and his mom appeared on my doorstep. I'd completely forgotten that it was my day to watch him, and I had several errands that couldn't be put off. Knowing how bored Aaron would be, I decided to combine my necessary trip to San Diego with a drive along the coast. When I told him of these plans, he had a better idea.

    "Nana, do we have to just drive by the ocean? Can't we stop and play in it?"

    My first thought was that this would involve packing a lunch and loading up the car with the ice chest, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand shovels, and buckets. Having neither the time nor the energy to make such preparations, however, I decided to grab a serendipity moment. Tossing beach towels, a bottle of water, and a bag of cheese crackers into the car, Aaron and I were off for a marvelous adventure. At the beach, Aaron amused himself by digging a hole in the sand and watching it fill with water. Watching him dance about joyfully, I let the sound of the waves and the cool ocean breeze take me away from it all.

    If you don't have an ocean or a grandson at your disposal, you can still enjoy some serendipity moments. Why not grab some cheese and crackers for an impromptu picnic in your own backyard?

    If you can't physically get away, why not pick up the phone and call that friend you've been thinking about? Or invite your neighbor over for a cup of tea. A serendipity moment is anything you do just for fun, spontaneously.

    No matter which of these escapes you choose, enjoy yourself. You do deserve a break today — and tomorrow, as well!

    HERB TIPS

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Angelica
    (Angelica archangelica)
    Also Known as “Root of the Holy Ghost”
    Angelica is a native of North America, Europe, and Asia. Wild angelica is found in moist fields and hedgerows in the northeastern and northcentral United States and Canada. Angelica, is also widely cultivated as a garden plant.
    An ancient and highly aromatic plant, angelica is praised in the folklore of northern Europe countries as a panacea for all ills. The name probably comes from the Greek angelos, meaning “messenger.” There is a legend that an angel revealed to a monk in a dream that the herb was a cure for the plague, and traditionally angelica was considered the most effective safeguard against evil, witchcraft in particular.
    Angelica is an important flavoring agent in liqueurs such as Benedictine. It is also cultivated commercially for medicinal and cosmetic purposes.
    Angelica is a hardy, herbaceous, biennial herb (USDA Zone 4-7), which can be extended to four years if the emerging flower spikes are removed. It grows to a height of 3 to 8 feet. The dramatic second-year flower heads appear in the late spring through summer. They are greenish-white and very sweetly scented. The lower leaves are large, bright green and glossy with smaller upper leaves.
    Wild angelica (Angelica sylvestris) is also known as “Ground Ash” with white flowers in the summer often tinged with pink. Wild angelica can be confused with poisonous wild hemlock flowers, so don’t pick them unless you absolutely know the difference!
    Angelica can only be grown from seed, but it loses it viability after 3 months. Sow preferably when it is fresh, in the spring or fall. If this cannot be done for some reason, store in the refrigerator or freezer. As seedlings do not transplant well, sow in planting position and thin to about 3 feet between the plants. If maintaining for another season, mark the spot as the plant will die back fully during the winter.
    Aphids can sometimes be a problem, but can be removed easily with a liquid horticultural soap. It cannot be stressed often enough that angelica needs plenty of water and if in the summer, the leaves turn a yellowish green, it is usually a sign that the plants need more water.
    Angelica dislikes hot and humid climates and appreciates a spot in the garden where it can be in the shade for some part of the day. It can be a difficult plant to accommodate in a small garden, as it needs a lot of space. Site as the back of a border, or perhaps near a wall where the splendid plant architecture can be shown off. Make sure that the soil is deep and moist. Add well-rotted compost to help retain moisture.
    Angelica forms a big clump of foliage in the first summer and dramatic flowers the second, dying back after the seed is set. A plant will propagate itself if allowed to self-seed. But by cutting back in the autumn, and preventing the flower head from seeding, the same plant can sometimes by maintained as a short-lived perennial for approximately 4 years.
    Harvest the leaves for fresh use in the spring; for drying, in early summer. The aromatic leaves can be used in potpourri. Pick the flowers in early summer for dried arrangements. Collect the seeds when they begin to ripen. Harvest roots for use medicinally in the second fall immediately after flowering. Angelica stems are used as a decorative confectionery for cakes. Young leaves can be used to season salads and the seeds can be added to breads and pastries.
    This herb also has many medicinal uses. Angelica stimulates the circulation and for this use it is recommended to seek the advice of a trained herbalist. It has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. The young leaves can be made into a tea for reducing tension, nervous headaches, indigestion, stomach gas and heartburn. The roots can also be used to make a soothing tea for bronchial conditions and colds. Simmer one ounce of the clean root in a pint of water for at least 30 minutes.
    Perhaps only grown for its culinary or medicinal purposes, Angelica is also a striking addition to the garden. Its large leaves have a tropical appearance and can give the garden a lush appearance.
    HEALTH TIPS
    Breathing Exercise
    by Tony Robbins
    Ready to invest just five minutes a day in an exercise that will produce immediate and significant benefits? Try this breathing exercise from "Unlimited Power", by Tony Robbins.
    You should breathe in this ratio: Inhale on one count. Hold on four counts. Exhale on two counts. Example- if you inhale for four seconds, you hold for sixteen and exhale for eight. Do this in sets of ten three times a day. While staying within your comfort zone, progressively increase your seconds count to develop greater lung capacity. The author claims that there is no food or vitamin pill in the world that can deliver the health benefits that this simple exercise does. And it’s free!
    He quotes compelling back up data:
    Breathing not only controls the oxygenation of the cells, it also controls the flow of lymph fluid, which contains white blood cells to protect the body.
    What is the lymph system? Some people think of it as the body’s sewage system. Every cell in your body is surrounded by lymph. You have four times as much lymph fluid in your body as you do blood.
    Here’s how the lymph system works: Blood is pumped from your heart through your arteries to the thin, porous capillaries. The blood carries oxygen and nutrients to the capillaries, where they are diffused into this fluid around the cells called lymph. The cells, having an intelligence or affinity for what they need, take oxygen and nutrients for their health and then excrete toxins, some of which go back into the capillaries. But dead cells, blood proteins, and other toxic material must be removed by the lymph system. And the lymph system is activated by deep breathing.
    The body’s cells depend on the lymph system as the only way to drain off the large toxic materials and excess fluid, which restrict the amount of oxygen that the cells can absorb. The fluid passes through the lymph nodes, where dead cells and all other poisons except blood proteins are neutralized and destroyed. How important is the lymph system? If it were totally shut down for twenty four hours, you would be dead as the result of trapped blood proteins and excess fluid around the cells. Read the next tip for another great way to stimulate your lymph system.
